by fromWanted to love, but just couldn't I bought these with the intent of using them as a late fall/winter/early spring running tight. I thought the WindStopper (WS) panel on the front would be just right for knocking down the New England wind. However, for me, the different material around the knee, which is more stretchy and compressive than the WS fabric on the thigh and shin leads to tugging while running. As you run, imagine the fabric on the knee sticking to your knee and the fabric on the thigh not sticking as you stride. Repeat that a few hundred times over the course of a run and what happens is the waist band begins to slide down, which leads to bunching of material in the crotch area.... which leads to an inhibited striding ability. I find myself having to stop and hike up my pants like a grandpa every so often during a run. This happens even if I snug the drawstring. So, I'm returning these for a tight that has a uniform fabric type all over.
