The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Switch Lynx Interchangable Polarized Sunglasses:
I recently returned a pair of polarized, SunCloud sunglasses that I got at REI. So I will be comparing the Switch to that one.
I wear the Switch on a daily basis. It is worn casually and on hikes. It fits pretty snug (but not tight) on my nose and stays put fairly well. It can still slip on and off if I wanted it too, but it doesn't slide off on its own.
In terms of weight, the Switch is pretty hefty. It isn't heavy by any means, but it is a lot heavier by comparison to other sunglasses that I have tried. However, once you have them on, you don't even notice how heavy it is.
If there was one con, it would be in regards to the hinges and the size of the sunglasses when you fold them up to put them away. The glasses do not fold up very well so they do not fit in pockets very well. The sides are also very thick, which probably aides in the bulkiness and lack of fold-ability. When "folded," the sides fold on top of each other. As a result, only one hinge is at 90 degrees (folded). The other is stacked on top and it doesn't fold very well. The other hinge is at 45 degrees at best. This makes it extremely difficult when trying to get this to fit in a sunglass clip or pocket. Honestly, I don't even try. Unless you have a large sunglass holder in your car, these may not fit. This doesn't bother me too much as I park in the garage and I leave it on my dash; unfortunately, this may not bode well with people.
Overall, I still like my Switch sunglasses. The one con is pretty minor and doesn't bother me.
