    I was looking for a moderately priced bike to help get myself back in shape and handle well on the road as well as the trails in MoCo and DC. This bike has met and exceeded my expectations. I was able to get the previous year model a great price. It arrived quickly and the REI Bike shop assembled the bike and ensured a proper fit for me.

    I like to ride through Rock Creek Park and the conditions can be a little rugged. This bike gives me the ability to have a smooth road ride and toughness and stability to handle the bumps and rough muddy sections in the park.

    The shifting is smooth and easy for a novice like me. I really enjoy down shifting and powering down the hills.

    If you are a beginner like myself and looking for a bike to get some exercise and fresh air this is the bike for you.
