La Sportiva Quantum trail-running shoes feature sculpted, slip-lasted uppers for a close fit and cushioned midsoles that soften the blow of unpredictable terrain for a smooth, comfortable ride.
- Highly breathable nylon mesh uppers help keep weight low; thermoplastic urethane overlays provide support and structure
- Built-in, 4-way stretch scree guards keep trail debris out
- Nylon mesh linings wick moisture to help keep feet comfortable
- Dynamic midsoles are made of 2 layers of different materials—just under the foot, an ergnomically shaped, firm EVA layer offers light stability and extra cushioning
- Below the EVA layer is a soft, lightweight layer of polyurethane foam that delivers excellent cushioning, helps dissipate impact shock and conforms to uneven terrain
- Thermoplastic urethane heel counters enhance heel stability
- Wrapping the polyurethane layer, the shaped FriXion rubber outsoles of the La Sportiva Quantum shoes offer increased ground contact for great feel and responsiveness
