Injinji Ex-Celerator 2.0 Compression Socks is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Secure fit, strange texture After trying toe socks and toe shoes out, I have found I prefer toe socks in traditional shoes, especially for longer bike rides, jogs or hikes. Compression socks seem to help me for these types of exercise so I bought these with high hopes. First the good. They fit well, are snug and have a good amount of compression in the calf. If your feet sweat, these are sort of thin but feel like they are made of a durable material. The downside is that when walking, there is a sort of rough feel of the fabric against my skin in the mid arch of the foot. It is noticable when the skin is dry, and it sort of diminishes as the feet build up some sweat, but I don't find it pleasant. I use custom insoles so that my feet contact the entire sole area inside the shoe and I feel a sort of accordian rubbing/squeezing of the fabric. The other compression socks I have simply hug the foot and the fabric sort of moves against the shoe. At first it seems like it will cause a hot spot or blister, but it hasn't yet. Perhaps my shoe is too large or the interior cloth is too smooth, or it needs to break in more, but I have not had socks that have needed this much breaking in. I have had them for about 3 months now and it has not improved much. Perhaps it is the shape of my foot or the way I walk, but I felt like it needed to be mentioned in the review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well in ski boots & on the plane I wear toe socks 95% of the time, but was not sure how to do that in ski boots. Not only did these work in my boots, the pre-compression made a nice prelude to the boot compression, forestalling boot cramps. Probably the compression also discouraged me from moving my feet into cramp-inducing positions. Might not be warm enough for the depth of winter, but they were great for spring skiing. And, while I don't have a direct comparison, I think my muscles were generally quieter and less beat up after each day of skiing. I have very short toes, and the only change I'd make would be to wish for shorter toes in these socks. But for most people, they should fit fine. I'm now buying two more pairs. Hate to admit it, but I wore the same pair for 3 days straight (rather than mess with success). Also good on the plane home (where they also worked well as normal compression socks).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WonderWoman your runs and daily work out If you stop and really think, proper body autonomy starts from the feet up. Alignment from feet, thru knees, hips, lower back, neck and head. People in yoga have very strong feet and this is largely due to the fact the toes are constantly spread and the metatarsals in-between the toes are being strengthened and are working as they should be. Once you go toe sock you never go back; your feet and total body will thank you- and I'm so HAPPY they finally added a tall compression sock in some COOL colors to add some flair to your runs, and work outs in the gym, especially if you cross fit. Thank you INJINJI- keep up the good work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit, excellent calf support I use FiveFingers shoes, and have several pairs of these socks for my colder-weather runs. So far they've all held up well after multiple wash/wear cycles. I find the fit to be excellent (all Injinji socks are a little long in the pinky toe for me, but it doesn't bunch or rub), and they've provide a good insulation layer for colder mornings. The calf compression seems to fit well, on par with the compression sleeves I've used. I can't really say I notice some huge difference in performance or recovery, but I don't think anyone claims the effect is supposed to be so large that you'd notice it immediately on switching.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Injinji rocks, but ExCelerator not Love Love Injinji toe socks and have owned twenty pair of old compression, current travel, wool for cold weather, and even booty sock and all wore well and performed perfectly -legs felt great, and I never got a blister no matter how long the hike - max 20 miles. That's why I purchased the new Ex-Celerator which are made or stiff, itchy material. They do compress very well, but the compression becomes inhibiting and painful at the top of the calf (back of the knee). I was disappointed and will return three of the four pairs I purchased of this style.
