    The Deuter Guide 45+ pack is a durable and comfortable top-loading pack that can be easily customized for mountaineering, climbing and skiing.

    • Anatomically cut hipbelt and shoulder straps fine-tune the fit; loosen them for comfort during approaches and quickly tighten them down for precise load control
    • Back panel uses 2 vertical foam strips to help ensure stability and channel air to enhance ventilation
    • Top-loading main compartment is crowned with a lid that contains a zippered pocket for small valuables; SOS label inside the lid lists key info if you're lost or need help
    • Reinforced ski straps on the sides of the pack body secure skis and stand up to sharp edges; ice axe loops and carabiner loops provide secure attachment points for tools
    • The Deuter Guide 45+ pack features a removable foam mat that adds support to the back panel and can be used as a trail seat

      I use this pack primarily for day climbs such Mt. Hood and it feels extremely comfortable carrying 30lbs or so. I would highly recommend this as a climbing pack.
