by mrsmcgfromThese ran smallI had ankle surgery in October, and was about to get my cast removed so I orderd 2 pairs of these socks. I was looking forward to wearing these to helpe reduce the ankle swelling, and to assist in the healing of the scar.
When sthe package arrived, I was excited to try the sock on. I normally wear size 8 shoes, and had ordered the M size, which is suppose to fit size 7-9.5. I was disappointed when I tried the sock on. The socks seemed to run small, especially around the calf and cuff areas. I tried the sock on my other leg, and it was also tight. I was rather disappointed, as they seem to be well made.
I did return to the REI site and ordered another brand of compression socks and they work and fit great! Not sure if I can mention that brand in this review.

by paulinlimfromSatisfactoryI like them fine. The only possible drawback is that they're kind of slippery, so I have to make sure my running shoes are extra-tight or else I'll get some unwanted movement.
I originally ordered them in Men's Small, but they sent a Unisex version with tiny feet, so I exchanged them for Medium. Those also looked too small, but they "grew" when I put them on. I guess that's the Lycra.

by NWalpinefromrecovery & preventionThe only reason I don't give the socks 5 stars is because I believe all products have room for improvement. That said, I really like and enjoy these socks. Right now I primarily wear them to work, which involves a 20-25 minute walk, cycling on a stationary bike, and general walking around. They do a great job pushing edema out of the ankle as I sit at work, an issue particularly for me as I recover form a lower leg injury. In the future I plan to use them running and alpine climbing. The socks are very supportive, with noticable graduated compression and some tension/support through the arch. A previously bought pair has been pretty durable. Though not a performance factor, I like their style.
