Comments about Marmot Sawtooth MemBrain Sleeping Bag:
First I will say I've only used this on two trips now a wanted to test out more, but felt this non reviewed product deserved one. This is good stuff as you'd expect from Marmot. I really wanted to give it 5 stars but the zipper has caught a few times, but not in the way that it would tear the fabric holding the down, as next to the zipper is a stronger fabric. Speaking of fabrics; the MemBrain is really good at keeping moister from wetting the down. If you're looking at this bag in non MemBrain to save money I wouldn't and that apply to all Marmot bags, this stuff is good. It packs down pretty well and even more so if you're using a compression sack witch I do not, or at least not yet. Only other minus I've found witch is no biggie at all is the inside pocket is super small from other bags I have used. To the main issue when buying a cold weather bag is warmth and it is indeed warm. I haven't had the bag down to the rated temp of 19F, only 29F and was really comfortable. Also I'm a person who doesn't have much body fat and still will use say a 35F bag close to 10 degrees lower then rated temp and be cozy, so when I say warm, I'm one whodosen't like to be hot what-so-ever while sleeping. My Therm-A-Rest ProLite Plus fits inside like a glove. Love this bag and glad its mine now, I know with Marmot quality with MemBrain and my care it will serve me well.
