    Comments about Light & Motion VIS 180 Micro Rear Bike Light:

    "Nit-picking is the pastime of pointing out minor flaws or mistakes."

    The power button lacks snap-action click feel, so you need to observe the light to cycle through each of its settings.

    The red honeycomb plastic exterior is a diffuser, but is not a reflector.

    The orientation of the micro-USB charge port connector is difficult to discern.

    The attaching tether of the micro-USB charge port cap is difficult to retract.

    Note: the current REI DESCRIPTION,
    "Multicolored status light on the Light & Motion VIS 180 Micro rear bike light displays the charge level so you'll know when to recharge"
    - is not applicable; whereas the manufacturer's Quick Start Guide is accurate -
    " ... the light will automatically drop down into Pace Line mode to preserve battery life, and the side amber lights will pulse at a faster rate."

      I only had this light for a few months before it was stolen from me at the gym, but for the few months that I had it I felt safe and confident that the vehicles that are coming from behind me can see me. The amber side lights are a treat and offers great visibility for people on the road. For the price it is a great addition as a visibility light. I plan on buying the model step up from this once I save up enough money.
