I saw the jacket online and thought it looked great. I liked the color combination and the style. After it arrived...I liked the feel of the material. I saw that it was hooded but was a little disappointed that the hood is so large and a little cumbersome. I was expecting something that you could tuck away and zip up. Nope..it's a full hood. In the right weather (or wrong weather, depending on how you look at things) I'm sure I'll be glad it's there. It will definitely cover this big melon! It has a drawstring on the hood and around the waist. I'm 6'3, 210 and my waist is only a 32...big chest and shoulders. The drawstring makes it so it fits no matter what my size is. It's the kind of apparel you'd wear to the beach at sunset, on Cape Cod when it's about 60 degrees. Very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with it especially at the price I paid, for something made by North Face.
