    The all-purpose Black Diamond Aspect climbing harness is designed for year-round adventures, from ice climbing in Ouray, Colo., to the warm weather and splitter cracks in Indian Creek, Utah.

    • Bullhorn-shape waistbelt with Dual Core XP Construction™ features 2 separate bands of webbing and a supportive polyester insert to distribute pressure
    • Waistbelt has an abrasion-resistant nylon shell that stands up to frequent use and a soft, quick-drying lining that keeps you comfortable on summer days
    • Lightweight aluminum Forged Speed Adjust buckle at the waist is prethreaded for quick and secure 1-handed operation; buckle is easy to adjust yet won't slip when climbing
    • Forged Speed Adjust buckles on the leg loops accommodate bulky layers in winter and just a pair of shorts in summer; undo the buckles to get the harness on while wearing skis
    • 4 extra-large, pressure-molded polyethylene gear loops are reinforced with nylon webbing to provide excellent racking space with high strength
    • 4 slots are designed to accept the Black Diamond Ice Clipper (sold separately) for racking ice screws on your harness
    • Abrasion patches are 20 times more durable than standard nylon fabric
    • Rear haul loop is rated at 12kN
    • Rear elastic straps on the Black Diamond Aspect harness adjust easily and can be released

          The Medium is almost too small for me, especially when I am putting it over my layers for Ice Climbs - but when I tried on the Large, it was HUGE.

          It gets the job done, but is not the most comfortable to sit in during hanging belays. It sits on my hips a little funky.

          Great product, not perfectly comfortable if you have to sit in it for extended periods but not the worst I've worn. The steel buckles are great, the last harness from BD broke on a leg loop but this has a much better design. Color is great and fun. Gear loops are stiff and perfect for anything one might need. The only complaint is that it did hurt to sit in after about 10 minutes.

            This climbing harness mostly caught my eye because of the color. My only other experience with harnesses are the rental ones, so I am certainly an amateur. I have been using it now for about a month with weekly indoor climbs. This one fits really well. It's adjustable in many locations. It feels like it has the right amount of padding to remain comfortable, but not so much that it weighs you down. The legs and waist straps are adjustable to fit around varying thicknesses of clothing. For the price, this one is a great value for a casual climber.

              I wanted a decent harness and Black Diamond makes a quality product. I was shocked at how light the harness is and the features it offers. Automatic double-backing straps are quick and easy and overall a comfortable and reliable experience. The price is a little steep, but a great rig nonetheless.

              I'm using it for top-rope and hopefully leading in the near future.
