    The Lodestar is a great winter/cold weather piece. While not the lightest piece it more than makes up for its weight by being so warm. The high-loft fleece inside traps the warm air and you can wear fewer layers. Definitely my favorite ice climbing jacket for cold days, if it's not pouring water I wear my Lodestar.
