Featuring an exclusive design only offered at REI, the Arbor Cascade snowboard is for intermediate to advanced riders who readily ride through varied terrain.

    • On-mountain rocker design offers reliable, all-aspect performance in deep powder, tight trees, technical steeps, carvable groomers and big backcountry kickers
    • Parabolic rocker shape ensures that outside contact points engage with the snow when maximum edge control is needed; this means loaded turns, higher speeds and bigger landings
    • Rocker-specific flex pattern enhances the ride on this de-cambered board, easing turns, spins and presses
    • Wide, drawn-out tips support on-mountain and backcountry riding with deep snow performance; enhanced nose length offers good float in powder
    • Grip Tech sidecut makes 4 points of contact underfoot for improved and direct edge control; contact points create heel and toe pivot points for faster, more efficient turning
    • Directional twin shape equalizes stance to activate the contact points underfoot and enhance the rocker; longer nose offers easier riding in deeper snow
    • Forest Stewardship Council certified for sustainable production, this poplar core with bamboo reinforcements along the rails is made for aggressive, big mountain riding
    • Bamboo power plies act like a third layer of fiberglass to structurally enhance the board; this composite layer maximizes return and improves durability
    • Topsheet features a protective ultrathin finish, made from a castor-bean-based bio-plastic, that guards against damage caused by loose bindings and unforeseen impacts
    • With a high molecular weight, the wax-infused sintered base provides unmatched durability and speed
    • Built with 60% recycled steel edges for maximum durability and performance
    • Insert design allows an amazingly wide stance without spinning your disks or sacrificing microadjustability; size your board down, widen your stance and keep knees comfortable
    • Snowboard deck and base colors may vary from online photo

Comments about Arbor Cascade Snowboard - 2012/2013:

So, we didn't have a ton of snow here in the Northeast last year, but I went out and rode every time we did. This board did well in the trees, turns well, easy to control, still cut on ice. I was very impressed with this board. I'm a moderately experienced rider. Love the trees, off-groomed and some light tricks. This board easily surpasses my ability and is still pretty quick. The only negative was that the topsheet scratched the minute a skier got on the lift with me and kicked my board.
