Comments about Revolve rescue7000 Battery Pack:

First, it works. Simple to charge and to use; the instructions are brief, clear and complete even to saying how to open it, not that you need to; and mine came charged and ready to go. It's advertised as having a 7,000mAh capacity. I opened it up, and found it to be based on three 2,200mAh 18650 cells. Based on the size of the case and the rating, I expected to see 4 cells of 2,400mAh. 3 x2,200 is 6,600mAh at the 3.7 volts of the cells, or 4,880 at the 5 volt USB output it has to deliver to charge a phone. Even if you use the raw 6,600mAh number, it's still not 7,000. This will completely charge my particular phone twice, but from the description I expected it to be over 3 times, and I feel like I didn't get what I paid for. It either needs a different description or some better cells.
