by cmsandersonfromGreat bike for the price!I use this bike recreationally around the city and it's perfect! I have no problems with the bike whatsoever and feel very comfortable riding it for long periods. It's a standard bike, so if you're looking for something a little more tricked out, maybe go with a higher model. On a recreational standpoint, it's a great bike for the money!

by jt354fromExcellent commuter bikeAfter selling off my old racing bike, I wanted something practical for rides to class that could take some abuse, needed little maintenance, and was still fun to ride. I found it in the Buzz One, at a great clearance discount from REI. I have made a few modifications, which I will share here:
- I switched out the tires to Forte 35c slicks. The stock tires were fine but a bit heavy and too wide for road riding.
- Not being a fan of riser bars, I changed the bars to Easton EA30s and the stem to Easton aluminum
- Added a rack, SPD pedals, computer, and rear light
- Changed the seat to a WTB saddle
- Changed the gearing for a higher cadence
Having done all that I am very satisfied with the way the bike rides. With a steel frame, fork, and heavy wheels, it won't win any races. But it's definitely a solid bike and not a chore to ride for fitness and long distances.

by reKLINEr87fromGreat BikeGreat for riding on the street. Tires are a little bigger than a typical road bike so it is a bit comfier, however it still cruises well as the tires arent anywhere near mountian bike tires.
