This is a great bag to take along on a weekend ride and stop by the grocery store or bring items to the park. The material is very durable and the colors are appealing. The bag includes a rainfly if you get caught in a shower. The bag also includes a nice shoulder strap so you can carry it like a purse or messenger bag. Get two, you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Detours Toto Single Pannier - 2010 Closeout:

I already have a quick-release rack for my bike for around town; mostly toting stuff home from work and grocery shopping.
This pair of panniers I purchased fits perfectly on the shorter wings on that rack, and the "will-fit" inserts make the bags snap on and hold tight to the rack. I don't worry about them bouncing off when I hop a curb or hit a pot hole.
The material seems solid enough, and there are magnets in the handles making the bags snap shut nicely. They don't have zippers, which could be a plus, but the magnets and fold over handles work well enough.
The extras; a strap for converting to a shoulder bag, the internal pocket that contains a rain cover. I can't believe these were a close-out.
They are reasonably sized; I won't be shoving 10kg of rice into either, or more than a couple boxes of cereal into one, but large enough to hold "stuff." Two thumbs up.
