    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gel Bike Gloves - Men's is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cool Weather Gloves Have several pairs of gloves for warm, cool, and cold weather cycling. Sets for most conditions. These Pearl Izumi Cyclone gloves are very well designed. The fit, feel, tactile, and materials. The gauntlets fasten around your wrists are with small and easy to take off velcro tabs. No more fighting with huge velcro tabs that will not let you get your gloves off while you're riding! Silicon texturing on fingers helps your grab those hand grips and levers. Not only are the high-viz yellow but they have reflective pieces integrated with the hiz-viz yellow for even more low??light visibility (thumb, back of hand facing traffic) so when headlights shine on it, they also illuminate. Great for dusk and dawn and nighttime rides. They are water-resistant but not waterproof. Waterproof would be nice but these are light-to-midweight gloves not hardcore lobster-style winter cycling gloves for sub zero degrees riding. I rode with them in the 40 degree range and my hands kept warm even with strong wind gusts. Should be fine in these down to freezing weather in the low 30 degrees range. Even was able to operate my touchscreen iPhone with these gloves on. Highly recommend for commuter cyclists!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice gloves Nice gloves, highly visible, fit well. Have worked well at 45 F for 90 minutes on the bike (15-30 MPH). Probably good to about 40 F.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will be returning to store tout suite The left one is great. The right one fell apart the first time I wore it--the seams on the fingers just started coming unstitched and split apart. This is some really poor quality control, and also has me worried that Izumi's construction and grade of materials just isn't what it used to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice gloves As others have said, these gloves are just about perfect between the 40 and 60 degree F range. Anything colder and I would opt for a warmer glove; e.g., at 20 degrees F my fingers were pretty frozen after a less than 20 minute bike ride.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pearl Izumi Quality, Nice Fit, Warm Used at 55 degrees today. Nice and warn - almost too warm. Very light weight and well padded. Surprising warmth from such a light glove. Says the comfort scale is 50 degrees and I would guess these would be good lower than that without much trouble. Fit is snug on fingers and palm - nice feel - but extra material around the wrist that bunches some while not uncomfortable. I would both recommend these to others and buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect cool weather gloves These are my favorite gloves for temps between 45-37F (most of the winter in Seattle). Below 37F or so, you need something warmer. Grips are good, pads are solid, and the softshell back is stretchy and windproof. I use softshell waterproofing treatment to every couple of months, which helps but isn't perfect. In a constant rain, you're going to end up with wet hands. But the point isn't dry hands, it's warm hands, and north of 37-40 degrees, you're good to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cool or Colder Weather Glove! It's a great cool or cold weather glove. Feels comfortable, excellent grip, great breath-ability, wind blocking, washes nice in the machine. You will have excellent control of the bike with this glove. I have used mine for a few hammer rides on the road bike thus far and it is great. Best of all: It looks cool! (I got the Yellow). My opinion would be that this glove is good for temps of 40 to 65. Below 40 I think you would need a colder weather glove and above 65 you should just use a regular palm glove.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good gloves - but not for the dead of wi These are nice gloves. They are warm-ish. They are not winter gloves. Maybe I am a wimp, and I do live in So. Cal., but when the temps get down into the 40s and 50s, my hands are cold in these gloves. It is not the glove's fault, they are not true winter gloves, but some of the other reviews give them marks for lower temps, and I can barely work my brakes when it is that cold. But it is a trade off, and the gloves provide a nice feel with a little insulation. I don't want to ride in ski gloves, one does need to comprimise.
