It's a very comfortable bag. Nice protection for a smaller (<= 15") laptop. Great interior pocket organization and comes with an extra organizer that I was under the impression you had to pay extra for. Bonus!

I don't really know how waterproof the laptop compartment is yet (go figure as I live in Portland, OR), but I do know the main compartment is absolutely waterproof. Unless you go swimming with it, nothing is getting wet.

My only gripe is the lack of exterior pockets. I would kills for a pocket or two to hold my phone and keys separately. There is one pocket that is only accessible if you hold the back on one particular side. It is built for one side convenience only. I like to switch shoulders, so this is a partial inconvenience, but better to have it than not, as it's the only semi-exterior pocket available.

All-in-all, great back for the sale price. It can hold some serious gear with solid straps of no fear of breaking.
