I love the colors and features of this pack! There are a few pockets, but not too many! The flap folds back nicely to allow access to interior. There's an interior pocket for a water bottle, plus one outside, places for pens/pencils, etc. My only complaint is that it's a little long for my 5'3" frame -- perhaps i should have ordered the Flap Jill, if there is one -- instead of snatching this one up from our local store.

I use the Flapjack for school and will be using it in Europe this summer. In choosing a bag, it was important that it would have a sufficient amount of room for all my book and anything extra I needed. So far, I have been able to fit everything that i need and more. It is very comfortable too.
There are a few potential downsides to this bag: there are no external cup holders. (I would prefer external, in case something spills.) Also, I would love to have a way to put a lock on it to secure my belongings while it is on my back in Europe, but I haven't figured out a way to do that yet.
I love the way this bag looks and have gotten a lot of complement on it. I'm very happy with it!

Very nice bag. I use it to commute from home and work and its great. To get full use of the space, you probably need to pack it carefully. Also, I wouldn't recommend over packing it. I've had it for a month now and I've yet to see any damages.

I was looking for an attractive and functional backpack to replace my briefcase. I travel a bit for work and wanted something that has functional compartments for my work stuff (glasses, computer, phone, pens, water bottle, papers) that I could also use for cruising around town and day hikes while I'm away on business. I love this backpack. I also love the fact that the waist strap and chest strap are easily moved and replaced for maximum functionality. I bought both the FlapJack and FlapJill. The FlapJill is smaller and a better size for my stuff and I will return the FlapJack. If you have a larger computer or carry big binders, you will want the FlapJack.
