    This gems is similar to the Sidewinder SV jacket, but the Arc'teryx Rush features 2 different weights of Gore-Tex® fabric to give it an edge in unforgiving conditions.

    • High abrasion areas of shoulders, elbows and hood use rugged 150-denier nylon Gore-Tex® 3L Pro fabric that is breathable and durably waterproof and windproof
    • Core and sleeves use supple, lightweight 70-denier nylon Gore-Tex® 3L Pro fabric that is also breathable and durably waterproof and windproof
    • Reduced quantity and thickness of seams saves weight, provides excellent abrasion- and snag-resistance and enhances breathability
    • Helmet-compatible Storm Hood™ and generous collar protect you in inclement weather without sacrificing your peripheral vision
    • Offset, lightweight WaterTight™ Vislon front zipper prevents windchill and snow entry; quick-drying chin guard protects soft skin from zipper abrasion
    • Adjustable powder skirt with snap closure keeps out cold air and snow; slide-and-lock snaps attach jacket to compatible pants (sold separately)

      Out of the box I loved it. Very stylish. Chicago started getting snow the day after this shell arrived. I wear this over a Arc'teryx Atom SV and the combo is insanely warm, waterproof, windproof and indestructible. The hood on this shell fits well with a helmet, without one it's very large. I'm 6'1 230 and not that fit, a XL feels just a bit to big with the sleeves a touch to long. The large was a tad to tight. This was my first Arc'teryx shell and probably won't be the last.

        Went skiing/boarding with only two layers including this jacket. Perfect combination for Colorado skiing. Original price is steep, and I'll have yet to see if it is durable, so its value is to be determined.
