    I just bought this 1/2 zip. I have the previous generation 1/2 zip and I used that as a mid layer for skiing in New England. I have been wearing this new one as a jacket for the cooler weather up here and it is a lot warmer than the previous generation. Seems that the Omni-Heat reflective material is working. I plan to use this for skiing this winter!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
