        Comments about Burton Tech Beanie:

        This hat's style, color, and weight were just what I was looking for. But the fleece liner is sewn to the knit shell with a thread that is less stretchy than either liner or shell, and apparently not very strong either, because perhaps the third time I put the hat on, I heard and felt a slight "snap" from the headband. Soon after, I noticed that the liner was detaching from the shell, as it would if the seam had ripped and a thread was unraveling. So I returned the hat.

        (FYI: I don't know my hat size, but my head is not unusually large for an adult male, and one-size caps typically fit me just fine.)
