I bought this because all I have are life jackets for water sports (sky ski, wakeboard etc) I also have sit on top kayaks and the life jackets rode up, rubbed skin raw, and felt like a turtle. This jacket does exactly what I wanted. Only thing I do not like is all paddling jackets that I have found are so thick through the chest. I am guessing to meet CG approved status.
