        Comments about Brunton Zip Compass:

        So I actually drove to REI just to get a couple of these to add to a couple packs as backups. REI really needs to add something in the picture for scale.

        The compass itself might be great (I didn't end up buying it), but it's huge, way bigger than I would put on a zipper.

        I'm used to these type of zipper compasses to be in that 3/4" diameter range similar to their watch model but it's 2.15" in diameter it's basically a full sized compass. Not what I'm going to put on a zipper.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
