Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
I am 6'3, 240lbs and love this kayak. I have used it mostly on flat water. I plan to use it on Class I-II rapids soon and feel confident enough to the stability of the kayak to take it out. I would recommend this kayak to any novices. My only complaint is the inability to remove the straps to help fit gear better.

Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
This boat is like a sports car - incredibly maneuverable when you want it, but great tracking with the skeg down when you need it. Easy to paddle, stable enough for most skill levels, great fittings. When you're in the cockpit, it's like being in a race car cockpit - solid, braced well, and ready for action. Cool boat!

Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
I own a Jefe Grande and I have used this, and liquid logic by far makes the most comfortable and sturdy boats on the market. Have used on flatwater, and whitewater. I own a Jefe and a freind of mine owns the Remix, the only reason I did not choose the remix was that the jefe due to built in aluminum handles is far easier to lug up and down rough terrain, and the seating in the jefe I find more comfortable for long trips. The Skeg is awsome when you float pool to pool, and for drops you just raise it. One issue for the heavier paddlers, 250+ is that water can pour in if you do not have a skirt on, and with all sit in Kayaks it is a bit more difficult to eject due the thight pads, if you have not learned rolling, which I recommend.

Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
Quality unit, handles extremely well in faster water, turns on a dime. Drop skeg by simple twist of lever and it tracks perfectly straight for still water cruises.
Very stable!
Great all around.

Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
its not as maneuverable as a true whitewater boat and doesn't glide like true touring boat, but drop the skeg and it tracks like a champ. Pull it up and one stroke will spin you 360. has enough dry storage for self support camping and is super comfortable to be in. i did end up returning this boat to buy the XP9 because i'm only 5'4'' and the 9 foot boat fit me better.

Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
I've had the Liquid Logic Remix10 for 3 months now. My wife has the smaller, lighter Remix9. Both have been perfect for our intended use. They work well on flat water, slow moving water and whitewater. The skeg makes all the difference in flat, or slow moving water. When the skeg is up, I was amazed at how easily the Remix10 turned. I had no trouble making tight eddy turns and peel outs. No, it's not a play boat or a squirt boat. At 10+ feet it's definitely happiest moving down river. I haven't had a chance to run more than Class III+ yet, but it feels so solid, I have no doubt it will do just fine through most Class IV.I talked with one of the guys from Colorado Kayak Supply who was just back from running 12 days through the Grand Canyon in his XP10 with a bunch of other guys from Liquid Logic, fully loaded with no support boats!!! They ran every rapid in their XP10s, including Lava Falls Class V. You can see a clip from YouTube at the Liquid Logic website: http://www.liquidlogickayaks.com/video_xp_grandcayon.cfmI love my XP10! Amazed that REI is carrying it. Now they just need to carry whitewater spray skirts to fit them, as well as real whitewater paddles.

Comments about Liquidlogic Remix XP 10 Kayak with Skeg:
I've taken this boat out about 15 - 18 times now ranging from lakes, class III rapids, both fresh flat-water and saltwater river day trips, and even choppy saltwater just inside a bay for about a hour on a windy white-capping day. And the boat preformed fine even on the far outside realm of what it's for and excellent in it's designed arena of flat-water rivers/lakes and running rapids with lots of storage as advertised. It's super stable. For this style haul the boat can move pretty fast on flat water and with minimal effort. The skeg dose provid good tracking and weather-cocking resistance. With the skeg up it's super maneuverable. And when down it's spring loaded and that so far has preformed well though I wouldn't trust it in a rock garden to protect itself. For camping this so good with lots of dry hatch storage 75L in volume. Depending on how well you pack I think most could use 80 - 90% of that. However the skeg housing/cable dose eat a small part of the dry hatch that would be nice to have. Bow storage is about 35 45L of volume with removable bulkhead. Behind the seat is ample storage as well. I'd say 20L. The seat is very comfortable and nice, it dose well in all water conditions holding you well. The provided hip pads help a lot too. And the knee and thy pads feel comfortable and seam well made. The seat never gets wet due to it's construction. You can sit in this seat for a few hours no problem at all. The foot rest are strong and easy adjustable. Comes with one water bottle but room for enough. Only CONs I've found would be spray skirt fit at first. But after a few fits and a little time with it sitting on overnight that fits well now. And it be nice to see the bulkhead a bit faster to put in or take out but is just fine as is but have had times were it has to be just right for the screw to start screwing or the worry of lossing the screw.
Overall this boat is going too do just what I got it for. Kayaking camping (some solo) 2-5 days out of while paddling lakes, rivers, large creeks, with rapids up too class IV and having the storage I want/need with a boat made to handle it (good whitewater) and whatever come in between (flat-water) on long adventures.
