The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about OnGuard Doberman Combination Cable Lock - 12mm:
I needed a lock for my bike at work. This fit the bill perfectly and is long enough to tie it up anywhere.

Comments about OnGuard Doberman Combination Cable Lock - 12mm:
The mounting kit was easy to put on, and the twist on and off mounting is clever. There is a tab that must be pressed to remove. The cable wraps up neatly and has a velcro strap to hold it coiled. I'm happy with it for locking in a public place for a short time or in our apartment garage.

Comments about OnGuard Doberman Combination Cable Lock - 12mm:
The lock works very well. I have had two of the small plastic "T"'s that hold this to my bike frame break. This is a real weak area and you should also hold it on with a small bungie. I lost one on a ride but some nice person put it on a post so the next time I rode this route I saw it and got it back. However, even REI could not help me get a new holder so it would attach to the bike frame again.

Comments about OnGuard Doberman Combination Cable Lock - 12mm:
I used this product in the manner described on the package itself. The product comes with a clamp designed to carry the lock when not in use. It gives several suggestions on where to place in this case my bicycle. I tightened the two screws around the seat post where it made its new home.
Fast forward: I am commuting to work (bike lock is an essential) and I hit a bump in the road the clamp cleanly breaks in half and falls off unbeknownst to me. I get to work no way to lock my bike up.
After work I retrace my route no able to find the lock just the clamp. I talked with REI and they refused to return it because I didn't have the lock.
If I had the lock I wouldn't need to return it. I do not recommend this to any friend/enemy.
