Amazing jersey. During the summer, I live in it.

Here's the scoop with wool: you can wear it daily for two weeks and it will still smell better (and feel more comfortable) than a synthetic jersey that you used one time. Yes, that's right...I DO routinely wear my Ibex jersey for two weeks without washing it.

The Ibex jersey is more comfortable than other wool jersey's I've worn. I absolutely love it.

Here's the one and only con: with a nice and tight cycling fit, my nipples typically show through the thin fabric.

If you've not bought into the belief that "wool-is-cool ," you're missing out. I've always been under the assumption that wool would be too hot to wear in the summer; however, I was wrong. I've used this jersey in heat up to 90 degrees, and it has preformed wonderfully. The feel is interesting (not the material, it feels amazing). But how it seems too cool is the interesting part. Where a polyester jersey seems to keep you COOL; a wool jersey seems to control your temperature, if that makes sense. You don't feel cool as much as you just don't get hot. It really is an amazing feeling and I don't think I will ever go back to polyester on my road bike.

The other amazing thing about wool is that it does not stink! What this means for me is that I will wear a jersey at least 3-4 times before I wash it. No matter how wet it is, I just hang it up and let it air out, and by the next morning it smells and looks great. I could NEVER do this with polyester. So if you think about it, you can get away with much fewer wool jerseys, and this helps justify the high cost (however this one is currently on sale). I currently have three wool jerseys, and that is more than enough to get me through just about anything.

I highly recommend this jersey at the retail price. You cannot go wrong at the sale price. if you're thinking about it, now's your chance!
