Special ordered this kayak for my dog. Arrived well wrapped but extremely dirty with bits of plastic shavings embedded into the bulkhead sealant. Missing was the trutrak skeg system Perception lists on their website. No response for Perception's "customer service" regarding the missing skeg. This is my 3rd kayak from this manufacture, the others have held up well. The seat is comfortable, easy to adjust. It uses two standard foot brace tracks instead of one long track. This unfortunately leaves a 10" gap in seat location where I balance the boat best with the dog. The cockpit deck seems a little weak, a trade off on weight. Tracks well. Needs a skeg for trim as a rudder would be overkill. No skirt is yet availble. Bottom line it is a good recreational kayak for a dog.
