    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromFell apart pretty quickly These were a nice, light weight for Seattle early fall/late spring when you still want a little somethin' but don't want the bulk. However, another reviewer pointed out how quickly they fell apart/frayed & I completely agree. Not the best value for a couple months wear.

by fromChill factor These gloves are perfect for taking off the early morning chill or cooler (not cold) feeling off my hands on a hike. Fingers tips also allow you to check touch screen gadgets easily.

by fromGood quality and fit, but not warm I must admit that I am a cynic when it come to the supposed touch tips that so many gloves have these days. I find this feature's value to be so-so on these gloves and others I've tried. These gloves have some sort of printed thing on the palm which provides limited grip ability. They fit well and look good. In my case they'll work best when outdoor temps are over 30, as they don't provide a lot of warmth.

by fromRunning gloves These gloves were designed for cold weather running. That is where they work best, it's what I use them for, and why I like them enough to recommend them. They aren't designed for improving grip, or abrasive use etc. They work great for keeping your hands warm, and wicking away moisture, and being able to work your phone/podcast player with them on.

by fromDisappointment I had been looking for a thin and light weight under-layer for my mitts while giving me the dexterity to tasks in pretty cold conditions. The first pair I got split the seam at the joint of the index finger after only one light duty use so i returned them thinking it was a factory defect. The second set did the exact same thing after only two uses. A close look shows a very poor stitching quality at that point in the seam. Not Happy, but the design is exactly what I need.

by fromNot as advertised The little circles on the palm are NOT grippy at all, they're slick stickers which make it hard to even grip a door knob. Also poor execution on design. The fingertips have about a half inch of seems at the top of the finger, even more on the index and thumb which takes away from dexterity. I returned them.

by fromhigh expectations I recieved these as a gift, at first I thought they would be great. I understood the no grip on the gloves to make it easier to pull them in and out of gloves. and the tips worked fantastic with my droid. However, with one day of low to moderate use while hiking ( not bouldering or even hiking through trees) The tips ripped and are falling apart.

by fromhuge regression I had previously purchased the Manzella SPRINT Running Gloves for Men and was blown away impressed. The fabric was thicker than the typical running glove. The fit was outstanding. I felt like I was Spiderman wearing these gloves. I raved aboout them. After a couple years the finger tips wore through. No big deal... it happens. When I went to get a replacement pair I discovered the Touch Tip model and thought it would be the same great fit with a new useful feature. Wrong. These are a huge disapointment. They feel cheap. The fabric is thinner. The fit is less elestic and form-fitting. The thumb feels like it was designed for a flipper. I would also say the touch tip is visually far more obnoxious in person than in the mechansizing photos. As if the bright silver fingertips weren't a dead givaway they include a phone icon on the index fingers. Information graphics belongs on the hang tag, not the product. Boo! Throws tomato.
