Comments about CamelBak Octane 18X Hydration Pack - 100 fl. oz.:

Great day pack for one or two people. Very comfortable as long as it is not overloaded. Large water reservoir is especially nice as it is all you need for a day out. Really like the simplicity of the design. Mesh pockets on the sides of the waist strap are good for holding a snack or camera. The zipper along the front shrinks it down so everything inside remains stable when not fully loaded.

The only downside was one of the points for tightening the draw cord pulled out. I put it back together but continues to do this. However, I never use this particular feature so sort of irrelevant to me. This is the only reason I would not give it 5 stars.

A very nice minimalist pack for running, or day hiking. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a simple light weight pack.

I specifically bought this bag to use for adventure racing. It has turned out to be great. I also use it for daily hikes, and mountain biking. If I were to change one thing about this bag, I would put more pockets in it. There are a few, but the bulk of the bag is a large capacity. That particular feature is great for larger things, but not small things like cell phones, tools, etc... over all it is an awesome bag and I would suggest it to anyone looking for the extra capacity and large fluid capacity.
