I was disappointed because the zipper came off just as I pulled it out of the shipping bag. That said, I was able to stage a makeshift repair with a safety pin and some pliers, and the sweater fits reasonably well. It is a little baggy, but in a very comfortable way. I'm 5'1" and ordered a small.

I loved this design. It's very comfortable. But it started to pill at the first wear. Its such a shame, because after 3 months it looks old and ratty. I normally love REI's own brand but they missed on this one.

I love the assymetrical zip and the piping details on this sweater. Even got compliments at the doctor's office! The fit is boxy, so the first one I got in XS (I'm 5'3", 110 lbs) I found it a bit too bulky. Then saw that they had an XXS at the store, and it fits perfectly. So now I have it in both colors and they've been my go-to sweaters in the colder winter days, or just cooler ones without a heavy jacket. I love that the higher neck can be zipped up to keep my neck warm. I found them to be great for hikes in cool weather or just hanging out at the dog park while the wind's blowing. I did not have the pilling problem the other reviewer had, but I tend to be gentler on my clothes. All in all, a great buy.

Do not buy this sweater. It pilled up instantly in the elbows and chest/shoulder (where my purse rubbed after one wearing, with a jacket on). It looked old after just one wearing. I would not recommend this sweater, even though the styling is adorable!
