      I bought this pack at the beginning of the summer. It has only been used for mountain biking. It is a great pack and fits securely on the back. It is the perfect size and holds food and a light cycling jacket. However, the fabric is not strong enough to hold up for even a complete mountain biking season. I have a hole in it and another one forming. Having never crashed and babied the pack as much as possible there is no way I should already have a hole in the pack.

      My last camelbak pack lasted 5 years and never got a hole. The fabric the Charge pack is built out of is way too light for its intended purpose as a mountain bike pack. It would have been perfect if they had selected one or two grades stronger nylon. It would have added a few ounces to the pack, but also a few years to its life.

      At this rate I figure the pack will only last two seasons assuming that I do not crash and drag the pack through the dirt.

          This backpack is close to perfect except for the fact that if you use ice water for your pouch it condensates and seeps through the backpack so your back ends up being wet after every hike. I haven't had this problem with my other camelback, so I'm going to try to see if i can get some sort of case for the pouch to put in before placing it in the backpack.
