Comments about REI Mojave +10 Down Sleeping Bag - Women's Long - Special Buy:
At 5'4" and 130 pounds, I am glad I bought the long version of this bag. I like to have room at the foot to keep clothes dry, and this does the job. Glad I didn't go for the standard length, as I fear it would have been too short.

Comments about REI Mojave +10 Down Sleeping Bag - Women's Long - Special Buy:
Great bag for the price. Comfy, warm... packs well... LIGHT.Problem? It's a [$] bag and it leaks down like a $100 bag. I know, I know, who sells down bag for $100, right? *silence* NOW you get the picture how mine leaked ? LOL. I'm a 5'5"/148lbs guy. In features, it is a wonderful bag for the cost ([$]). The extra hip room designed for the gals is great for drying stuff overnight. This bag went with me new on a 2week Patagonia trip, seeing 8 nights of usage. By night 4, it starts to leak. On the final 2 nights... I had feathers all over my tent floor. Not whole feathers, but tiny bits and pieces of them on everything. Not a 'chicken ranch', but definitely a chick hatchery. But to be fair, I can STUFF a compression sack. My -20F 800fill down bag is in a MED (11L) bag. Likewise, I stuffed this, along with a thick liner bag into a MED(11L) bag. So... maybe if you do this with a LARGE compression sack, it'd stand up better ? However, the loft and the size of it is really for a MED bag. Actually, come to think of it... it's not my ability to compress a sleeping bag. My tent-mate who also has a new Mojave, was covered in feathers as well (but not as much as I was) by the end of the trip. (Yes, she's the one who inspired me to buy this bag)....So what's the take home msg ? If you gotta go explore 20F terrains for a season, and you're low on budget... GET THIS BAG ! You can't touch a warm down bag remotely close to this low price. If you don't hike often, and you're fashion minded, and NEED to change your bag every other season or so otherwise you'd be crosser than Rupaul with one change of clothes... get this bag !If you want a 'THE' 20F bag for your very own, forever and ever, and don't mind PAYING at least 2x more for it. Move along, this one isnt' for you.In short, you get what you paid for. And in this case, it's a good thing !
