With more polyester and nylon mesh in the uppers, feet are sure to enjoy enhanced breathability and quick-drying performance; synthetic leather overlays offer support
Nylon and polyester linings absorb and disperse moisture for enhanced comfort; Internal Support Saddle (ISS) helps wrap and hold feet in place
Midsoles feature BioMoGo polymer alloy foam, which provides cushioning, energy return and reduced foot fatigue; nontoxic additive helps midsoles break down in landfills

It is not as comfy as my New Balance but still pretty good lightweight shoe. I normally wear size 11 but I needed size 12 in this brand. Good for biking, walking and as casual day shoe. Can't say anything about durability yet since mine is only one month old. So far so good.

The reason for my 4 star is.

It doesn't make you say "wow" when you put it on. I expected something remarkably superior from a sport shoe with a price tag over $120. Didn't give me that "wow" effect I get everytime when I put my New Balances on and New Balance only cost half price of this one.

Well, time will show if I did the right purchase. But so far it's ok.
Just don't expect too much after seeing the price label of this shoe.

I was a big fan of the GTS 11, but did not find the 12 nearly as comfortable. These shoes felt too tight around the toes and too loose around the heal, no matter how I adjusted the laces. On a flat running surface they were comfortable, but they were rather painful on hills. I put about 20 miles of total running on the shoes, but they just never seemed to break in. This is a disappointment to me since I thought the GTS 11 was one of the best running shoes I have ever used. At least REI has a good return policy, because these shoes just will not work for me with the amount of running I do.

Recently purchased the newest version of the Adrenaline GTS12 after having a previous pair of the Adrenalines for over four years. Just as comfortable after breaking them in as the first pair bought. The shoes provide excellent cushion when paired with a nice set of insole inserts. Only beef with these shoes is there could be more support for forefoot overpronation, but that's more about adjusting personal running mechanics. Otherwise, excellent pavement/road shoe.
