Comments about Columbia Cool Creek Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
I use these every day on my daily walks and hikes and don't worry about being caught in the rain any more. I liked them so much that I bought two pair.

Comments about Columbia Cool Creek Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
My BF is on the short side with a thicker build, and regular pants were always too tight in the crotch and thigh area, and too long on the leg. These Columbia pants are a PERFECT fit and have some give to the fabric, so they stretch a bit and are very comfortable, but without looking saggy or baggy. They look great on him and are warmer than his convertible pants, so they are ideal for winter hiking/camping. The material is soft on the inside and water resistant on the outside. Can't say enough good stuff about them. Totally worth paying full price for - he wears them all the time.

Comments about Columbia Cool Creek Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
I liked most everything about these pants. They fit nice, look nice, feel nice, etc.
However, I wore them twice on hikes and both times my smart phone screen stopped working after a few miles (I had to reboot it several times to get it to work again). Apparently the mesh lining in the pockets gets moist when hiking in the heat, and it has the effect of causing the phone to act as if it has water damage.
It's the darndest thing, and I think I'd scoff if I read a review like this, but it's true. Unfortunately I had to return them, as there was really no alternative for me beyond re-lining the pockets with a different material.
As I said, I liked everything else about the pants- so if this isn't an issue for you these are great pants.

These pants are very comfortable. The pants allow for unrestricted range of motion for my legs. They feel great.

Comments about Columbia Cool Creek Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
Great material. Kept me warm and dry on a february backpack with over a dozen stream crossings. The flexible material is great for getting up and over those big boulders or tricky stream crossings. The waist is a bit tight, but ended up feeling perfect by the end of the trip. Great front and back pockets, but anything that you put in the side zippered pocket tends to bang your knee as you walk. A common gripe with hiking pants to be sure, but definitely present in this otherwise exceptional hiking pant.
