by fromGreat so far I'll have to write another review when I actually use this in the rain since my first trip with this had great weather. I did a practice set-up at home, and that was easy. I didn't have to look at the instructions. When I got to my first camp at 10PM after driving from work, I was really thankful to have the color-coded grey and white things for putting the poles in -- made it really easy to find what was what in the dark. What's more, set up in the dark was very easy. I had a chance to set up the tent in the light of day the next day and noticed that the fly in the vestibule side seems not as taught as it was on my old tent -- not sure how that will end up working in the rain, but for the trip I took, I had no complaints. I LOVE the little window in the rain fly -- it really improves circulation and also let's you look out when you want to. As far as size, well, I'm a rather petite woman, so few tents will feel cramped to me. I probably could have gone smaller, but in the end, I was really happy to have the extra room to store gear and feel like I could move around a bit. I could see a taller, more weighty dude finding this tent fitting just right, though without much wiggle room. Again, it didn't rain, but the quick set-up and roomy feel made me like this tent. I'll check back in when I take this out in a storm.

by fromSo Far So Great Finally settled on this tent (summer 2012) after an exhaustive search, and my experience waiting out nasty storms in similar BA tents. One of the main selling points for me, at 6'2" tall, was the 90" length. While my feet brush the end of this one and I still wish it were longer, at least it's not jammed like many others. The other clinchers for me were the light weight, and the quality of BA's stitching. So many other tents out there are sewn like all the other cheap junk coming out of Asia. While this home is constructed there too, at least BA applies higher stitch-counts with high-quality. Lastly, I really enjoy the layer of nylon fabric between the floor and the mesh-netting; it adds a little privacy and blocks other peoples lights from glaring straight into your eyes while your lying in it at night (without the fly on). I wish BA would do the same on the doors of the Fly Creek series. At first I was hesitant because the the door design lowering to the bottom, rather than the D-doors. After using it I actually don't mind the door, I just try to keep it 'in' the tent when it's down, and I like how wide it is. The only things I would improve is to have the door zipper sewn and taped, like Mtn. Hdwr. used to do, rather than the now standard felled double row of stitching. The taped way makes the doors much easier to glide open and close, and helps the zipper last longer. Also, despite my comments above, some of the stitching on the fly is a little sloppy in places, but no leaks so far.

by fromGreat Tent Great tent and very easy to setup. Things will get pretty tight inside during inclement weather if you bring your pack inside. The only problem I really have with this tent is the stake design. The eye-loop on the rain-fly and/or the corners of the tent usually slip off the stakes.

by fromSuper lightweight, quick to set up This thing is super light and packs down easily. I was hesitant about spending the extra money, but it was well worth it and I would recommend this to anybody.

by fromFavorite new summer home :) I have been using the seedhouse SL1 for a few years and it has worked out great. I decided that I wanted to get a one person tent that the door was on the side and not in the front. For me having the door on the side just makes it easier to get in and out of. So far I really like my Big Agnes Copper Spur UL1 tent it is very roomy and the setup is so quick and easy.

Vestibules have plenty of space. Fit two full-sized panniers, several gallon jugs of water, shoes, cookware, and more in the main vestibule with room to spare. You can fit some gear inside too, because the tent gets wider toward the head area. Fells like a "real one-person" tent... not merely a bivvy sack in disguise. The side-entry is nice, especially in wet weather; even when the rain fly zipper is opened all the way and the flap is pulled back, it still keeps over half of the vestibule footprint, and the tent itself, totally dry. The floor inside stayed perfectly dry when a midnight thunderstorm dumped 8" of standing water on our poorly chosen basin of a campsite (photo). It held up fine in 35mph winds. I'm 6'1" and the tent seems to fit just right, but without very much room to spare on the head/feet. Maybe a couple of inches between my bag and the wall, on either end. Although lightweight, the floor material took some serious abuse without a ground cloth. Rocks, twigs, sand, concrete, more sand, etc. But get a footprint for it anyway, because when you finally set it up in the dark on cactus spines and poke tiny holes through the floor, it will break your heart, because this is such an awesome tent.
