In past projects in Africa we have been plagued with the unpredictable or simply unavailable municipal power system. The Light-a-Life lantern is a very bright light and filled an entire room with light easily for our all too common black outs to allow us to continue working. The light is also very durable we have found. We also have the Goal Zero Sherpa 120 battery pack, Sherpa inverter, and Nomad 27 solar panel. Would highly recommend this light for those traveling to Central Africa, or other areas of the developing world.
