Z Clip tip attachments hook onto the holes at the tips of K2 skis; sleek design keeps weight low and helps prevent snow from building up where the skin meets the ski
Adjustable tail straps interface with the tail holes on K2 skis to secure the skins; clips sit on top of the skis rather than at the back, thereby reducing drag

Comments about K2 COOMBAck-GotBack Climbing Skins:

These were the first non-black diamond skins that I've ever purchased and I was less than impressed. While climbing I had a very hard time sliding my ski forward. The skin just provided way too much friction. Now on the positive side - the skin grabbed the snow well - it was just as I would slide my non-weight bearing ski the friction was so great I felt like I was over working. My Black Diamond skins grab the snow on my weight bearing ski and slide very comfortabley (with hardly any friction) on my non-weight bearing ski. Never again would I use these.
