Comments about The North Face Interval Running Quarter Socks - 3 Pairs - Women's - 2010 Closeout:
I just got these socks a week ago, so I'm not sure about the durability, but so far I'm very impressed. I'm training for a marathon, and decided to invest in some good socks (the cotton ones just weren't cutting it anymore). I mainly run outside with these, and I have loved these socks so far. They make my runs so much more comfortable. The sock you use really does make a difference (esp. when you're running such long distances). My foot is typically a size 9.5, and the large fits very well. Not sure yet if they shrink, though I'm not expecting much b/c of the lack of cotton.

Comments about The North Face Interval Running Quarter Socks - 3 Pairs - Women's - 2010 Closeout:
These are good socks IF you follow the washing instructions. I've purchased two sets of these socks in the 3-pack about six months apart, and I must admit I didn't follow the recommended washing instructions the first time around (they say to turn them inside out prior to laundering.) So within one washing they were all pilly and snagged on the outside. So the second set has gotten the proper treatment, and the results have been much better so far (although it hasn't reduced the pillage entirely.) I even tried air drying them to reduce the pillage but that didn't seem to make a difference. Also, the little pilly things aren't soft like little pieces of cotton or lint...they are more so like little tiny balls that are tough and scratchy. I wear these socks for every day use just running around town and they perform just fine--no holes to report and they don't make my feet hot. However, I have noticed that over time they get less and less soft, even with using fabric softener or eco sheets.

Comments about The North Face Interval Running Quarter Socks - 3 Pairs - Women's - 2010 Closeout:
I've been running for about six months now and ordered these socks when I signed up to run my first 5k. I received the socks quickly and ran with them a few weeks before the race and ran the race itself in them. I'm in love and I always reach for these socks first whenever I go out for a run. They are cushioned in all the right places, they never bunch up or slide down and unless it's pouring rain they keep my feet dry and comfortable. They wash and dry well and feel extremely durable. They are on the thicker side so I'm looking forward to using them when I run in the PA snow this winter. Definitely a good investment and a great price.

Comments about The North Face Interval Running Quarter Socks - 3 Pairs - Women's - 2010 Closeout:
I'm a beginning runner and these socks are very comfortable when running or working out. I wear a women's size 4.5 shoe and the size S fits perfectly. They've been washed a few times and they're holding up well so far (the care instructions do say to turn inside out and hang dry or tumble on low). Great deal on the 3-pack too.
