Comments about iMainGo2 Portable Speaker System:

Great sound in a little and affordable package. I purchased and thoroughly tested about 6 of the leading portable speaker systems to do a side-by-side comparison and this is my favorite (4 of the others have been returned). I also purchased an Eco Extreme from REI which is my other favorite so I kept it due to its waterproof protection but the ImainGo is lighter in weight (I am a backpacking gram counter) and sounds a little bit louder and cleaner. We put this unit next to our volleyball game on the beach the other day and the music was still heard with all of the people and waves crashing. All in all a great buy. There are some smaller/lighter speakers out there that sound great too, but they offer no protection from the elements. That being said, the ImainGo is my new must have gadget of 2011. You can also triple the battery life by purchasing the Energizer super lithiums from REI.
