The Salomon Techamphibian 2 water shoes are highly cushioned and feature an agile, water-shedding design.
- Lightweight, quick-drying synthetic leather and nylon mesh uppers offer support and durability; mesh is designed to keep out grit and let water flow out freely
- Light, fast and strong Quicklace™ lacing system ensures a secure and personalized fit; just pull, lock the toggle, tuck into lace pocket and go
- Adjustable heel straps with collapsible backs let you wear these with neoprene booties or socks, or as convenient slides
- Rubber toe caps protect toes and uppers from bumps and abrasion
- Polyester mesh linings dry quickly; smooth internal stitching minimizes abrasion points
- Contoured EVA footbeds feature AgION™ treatment help deter odor development
- Molded EVA midsoles absorb shock and offer ample cushioning for all-day wear; drainage ports ensure quick movement of water for fast drying

If you have a chance, I recommend trying these on in the store first. I usually wear a women's 9.5, but surprisingly, the 8.5 fit fine in this style, with room to spare. (Salomon might want to review their US sizing!) Very lightweight and flexible - nice for canoeing or hiking wet trails. The interior felt a little scratchy at first, but they smoothed out after a few days. They keep debris out of my footbed and drain easily. They also air-dry quickly in the sun. Work great with or without socks. A neat feature is that the heel also folds inward so you can wear these as slides on-the-fly.
