Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
I love this bottle. It's the only one I've found that is truly one handed, which is invaluable to me as the mom of a young baby. The ring that keeps it closed can pop off easily. I caught it and put it back twice before losing it. So now I can't keep it in my diaper bag and, although that's a very annoying design flaw, I am back to buy another one to replace the first.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
This is an awesome little water bottle. I was looking for a Nalgene-type water bottle that had a mouthpiece so I didn't have to unscrew the cap every time I wanted a drink. There were other models with a rubber straw type contraption but it was completely exposed to the elements, which didn't really make me feel comfortable drinking from it. This water bottle has a nice air tight seal over the mouth piece so it doesn't get dirty. I have had no trouble with the cap at all and the metal ring locks it in place when I'm not using it. I can also hang it off my backpack using a carabiner by hooking it through the arm of the cap, which makes it even more convenient.
I haven't dropped it too much so I can't speak too much about its durability but it's survived the few falls that it has taken so far.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
Very good water bottle. I got this to replace a different brand of bottle that picked up tastes and odors, especially from dish soap, that were really unpleasant; this bottle has neither of those issues, and is also much less prone to getting slimy. The flip-top is difficult to close, I don't know if this is an issue with these bottles generally, or just the one that I got; since I mostly use this at home or in the car, it's not a huge problem, but might be for someone who wanted to use it while biking.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
When I take a drink of water, I like to get a real slug. This bottle lets me take a big gulp without exposing a large bottle mouth. With the "sippy cup" style, like Camelback, I only got a small amount of water. I also had some trouble with the Camelbacks when I left them in the car. If the car got hot, water would dribble out the bottle. This was also true if I ran the heater in the car (my cup holder is right in front of a vent). Not an issue with the Nalgene.
I especially appreciate that Nalgene knows how to make a leakproof top without an O-ring seal. Those get grungy and are difficult to clean. This cap cleans up easily. No seal also means I can put other cold drinks in, like juice, and not have to worry about the lid picking up bacteria.
The only (slight) negative I give to this bottle is that the cap can be a little difficult to snap shut with one hand. However, even open, it does not slosh out while in my car's cup holder.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
I've had this bottle for over a year now and I'm about to buy a second one.
I've never had one leak from this bottle and I carry it around everywhere, almost every day. I've also dropped it a couple times on cement and the only damage was a few scratches. I've stuck it in a neoprene sleeve with some ice and it's stayed cold for hours.
One person mentioned not having anywhere to clip it. I've actually clipped the top to backpacks using carabiners and never had a problem. Well, except the one time I clipped the neoprene sleeve to the carabiner instead and forgot that I'd done so, so the bottle slipped out faster than I'd expected after I'd already opened the top. That was probably the only time I ever got wet from this bottle and it was completely my fault.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
Bought two of these for my daughter for everyday use. They are wonderful water bottles that do not leak. That is UNTIL the added metal clip comes off and the lid pops open very easily. We will continue to use these bottles as a back-up, but have had to try a different brand now. Again, great water bottles, just watch the metal clip to make sure it does not fall off. Or be prepared for things or yourself to get wet unexpectedly.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
This bottle is wonderful. It is not so wide mouth that you pour liquid all over your face, and there is no tiny straw to worry about. It is very leak proof. It is a perfect size for car cup holders. My only problem is that I wish there was a place for a clip so I could clip this on to a pack or a belt.

Comments about Nalgene OTF Water Bottle:
I collect water bottles, so I have tried many types. This one works great because you are not sipping through a straw like the camelbak or others. Straws cause air to enter you system and create gas problems. The flow is faster too. The lid design is slick and it locks closed and stays open very well too. I just wish they made it in a larger size. All the qualities of Nalgene and still fits in cup holder.
