Comments about Fenix Everyday PD30 Flashlight:
Like one of the previous reviews, I too am in aviation and found myself in need of a powerful dependable LED flashlight. I needed a light that could not only serve as a good light source for preflight but also on the flight deck. In days past we were required to have in our possession a 2 D cell flashlight so whatever choice I made had to have at least that level of brightness and longevity. I purchased the PD30 based on a previous review and have not been disappointed. This thing is amazing and the bonus is being able to change the level of brightness to what the task is. Using high power I can illuminate any part of the aircraft exterior during a preflight or using low power which is great for use in a dark hotel room or even the flight deck. I used this light on my last RV outing at a local lake, using the "turbo" which is blindingly bright. I will purchase a second Fenix for my RV and have already recommended this light to another aviator friend. I did see a review that states that once the batteries are depleted the light will go into a strobe mode before dying. Due to its technology that gives a constant brightness all the way to the end of battery life gives virtually no warning before dying so carrying spare batteries would be a smart move for those that have critical jobs. This is not a huge or heavy light. Fits in small areas including a pocket and is made of high quality aluminum, includes nylon carry pouch that can be worn with your belt, metal clip for clipping on your shirt pocket, lanyard to help with carrying and spare O rings for sealing the case. For the price the amount of light this thing puts out will impress you. I'm a very happy Fenix customer. Highly recommend.

Comments about Fenix Everyday PD30 Flashlight:
I use this light everyday.I like to walk after sunset and there are no street lights,so this light lets me be seen and I can see what's around me,I really like the strobe when I use the traffic wand with it.I got caught in a bad thunderstorm one night and I knew I didn't have to worry about my light because it's waterproof.Great light for it's size.

Comments about Fenix Everyday PD30 Flashlight:
I work around aircraft and I wanted a small flashlight with a bright beam. One that would reach to the top of the vertical stabilizer and one that would penetrate the darkness of a wheel well. I was not disappointed. I recently had the opportunity to use this light under an overcast on a dark Yellowstone night. I knew my path was clear of any wildlife that might not feel as friendly towards me as I did towards them
