Ultralight ripstop polyester shell and lining surround high-quality, 650-fill-power goose down insulation; swirled quilting keeps down in place
Zip- and snap-off hood is fully adjustable, and detaches when you don't need it

This coat is used for everyday wear in the winter. Being a small person, this coat fits very well and doesn't sag in the back like coats can with women with shorter torsos. Although very lightweight, thin and rollable, this coat is warm (although I still recommend layering underneath) in the winter. The length is perfect for me too, not too long and not too short. I can't say how it would stand under harsh weather conditions since winter 2011/2012 in NYC has been warmer than the last two years. But so far, it has stood up against rainy weather and mild winter weather.

This coat is very stylish and well fitting, and it's very lightweight and therefore comfortable. However, it leaks tiny feathers constantly--whatever I was wearing collected the stuff and on black it really shows up! I finally had to return it for this reason--sad!

wanted to try on in LA, for trip a long term trip to NY; it was not an option. arrived in NY with coat to be delivered soon. fit was decent, however i have long arms and i am slim in the ribcage.was not warm and constantly shed feathers. zipper started getting jammed after few days and by 3rd week i was "stuck" in the coat...

Wear it for a few days, and a lot of down and feathers come out and stick to my pants and sweaters. Have to use lint remover roller every time I take the jacket off.
