Its a great shell, though cold if you don't have a thinner jacket on it. If you wear it with just a t-shirt or something its really cold against your skin. I'm an avid snowboarder, and had to go with a mens small (cuz women's jackets expect us to wear the snow skirt around our belly buttons) and it fits the length of my torso perfectly keeping me dry. Its a great jacket for the hill, waterproof and warm, and has the awesome feature of cloth that covers your hands under your gloves so it never pulls out.
