Comments about ASICS GEL-Nimbus 13 Road-Running Shoes - Men's:

I purchased this shoe for its cushioning effects, and have been very happy with how it has performed. I had a partial meniscetomy in Feb. 2011, and had been holding off on jogging until a few months ago. I was experiencing knee discomfort with my previous shoe (New Balance 1123), and was hoping a different shoe would mitigate the problems. Since using the Nimbus 13, the problems have diminished to the point where I'm no longer considering a meniscus replacement a certainty. I'm running exclusively on sidewalks, so I don't know how it will handle on other surfaces.

The shoe is very light weight, and very breathable. I haven't felt the need to put a superfeet insole into the shoe (which would probably interfere with the cushioning, anyway). The shoe is also very comfortable - when I tried it on at the store, it made me feel like I wanted to be running around. I didn't need to try on additional sizes or widths, so the shoe seems to conform to standard sizing.
