Last winter when it was below 10 degrees F several mornings when I had to drive to class, I searched everywhere for a pair of gloves that would fit my tiny hands and short fingers that would have good grip for driving. These gloves in an XS were perfect! They have excellent grip and although they are only water resistant and not water proof, they are fine for quickly getting snow off your car. Now, if you had several inches that would take you more than 5 mins, 10 mins max, to get off your car and it's below like 15 or 20, you might want to toss these on the passenger seat and put on some heavy duty waterproof gloves to clear the snow and then put these back on for driving.

Nothing beats having good grip on the steering wheel and not have your hands absolutely freezing in 6 degree weather, while you drive those couple of miles that it takes to get your car actually warmed up and producing good heat. These gloves will do just that for you. The price may seem a bit steep, but considering I searched for warm driving gloves for a month, and came up with nothing, these were well worth it! They will get excellent use this year too!

This glove is not warm enough for even short outings in 30ish weather unless you are very active at the time. My wife and I both have these gloves and are uncomfortable on a half-hour dog walk on lightly breezy 35F day. They are, however, fine while running in this weather.
