Brooks Beast road-running shoes provide excellent motion control for overpronators, supplying miles of comfort and stability.

  • Polyester and nylon mesh uppers are lightweight and airy for quick-drying performance; synthetic leather overlays help provide structure, support and protection
  • Nylon and polyester linings absorb and disperse moisture for enhanced comfort; ISS (Internal Support Saddle) helps wrap and hold feet in place
  • Insole boards use a foam polymer alloy formulated to resist compression and rebound more quickly than standard EVA, offering lasting, efficient cushioning and flexibility
  • Midsoles feature BioMoGo polymer alloy foam, which provides cushioning, energy return and reduced foot fatigue; nontoxic additive helps midsoles break down in landfills
  • Cushioning pods use high viscosity liquid to react instantly to each step, dispersing impact and customizing the cushioning for different runners and running styles
  • Extended PDRB™ (Progressive Diagonal Roll Bar) triple-density medial posts work to control excessive pronation and balance transitions from midfoot to toe-off
  • Midfoot thermoplastic urethane arch shanks control torsional flex at midfoot for control and support
  • Forefoot MC-Pod configuration balances midsole and outsole components to set feet in an efficient, balanced position, maximizing motion control and flexibility

      Great for flat feet & over pronators, like myself. They offer great support and breath well. Mostly run on pavement and well maintained trails. The Beast isn't the lightest shoe on the market, but then again its the Beast!

        I am a severe pronator with serious bunions, but am otherwise very fit and run regularly. My feet are generally narrow, but wider in the area of the toe box. This shoe was tailor made for my foot. I've been wearing them for well over 10 years, and every time I replace my existing pair, I buy another. I sometimes investigate other options, but never fail to stick with the "Beast." If your feet are like mine, you won't find a better shoe.

          I have been wearing Brooks Beast for at least 8 years. The colors change from year to year, but this is the only running shoe I have tried that perfectly fit my feet everytime - year after year. I did not have to break them in, and there was no discomfort at all when they are new. I will buy this shoe as long as Brooks continues to make them.
