    I tried this on in the store, and it was well made. Most of the bulk was low down in the front, and I wanted a sleeker feel. Since it didn't have a clip on the front for a rescue knife, I crossed it off my list. For about the same money, the Astral Buoyancy or Kokatat Bahia have more adjustments and features.

      I bought this model for a 125 mile July trip on the Tennessee River. I bought it on sale and it was well worth the money. It fit true to the sizing recommendations and the back mesh gave good ventilation during a hot trip. The generous cut around the shoulders and high back makes it great for kayaking. I had no issues with riding up or anything regarding fit or functionality. The front pockets have elastic in the top, so they expand to hold small items and are secure, though not very 'volumous' like other models. It is a very good, comfortable, basic PFD.
