I build custom flat bar road bikes and this is my standard seat for women since you never get complaints and it helps to sell bikes. Sometimes I get people who like the Selle SMP series or the Selle Italia Diva more but most people are ecstatic for it and no one has ever had a major issue with it. If you have an OEM or hard seat, this will be a revelation for you. The ability to absorb road harshness is pretty much unmatched which with the great fit is what makes it so unique.

I bought this saddle to replace the one that came on my Novara FlyBy folding bicycle that I purchased from REI.

Little 20 inch wheels, no suspension and the crummy included velo saddle (included saddles on bikes always remind me of the included earbuds with mp3 players...) added up to one big pain in the butt my first 2 days riding my FlyBy.

I ride and commute in normal clothes (no bike shorts here) so I figured I should splurge on a good saddle. I replaced the stock saddle with this lovely plush bit of engineering and am now grinnin' and spinnin'. The bruises on my sit bones went away and now I feel like I'm floating along on a cushy cruiser.

This saddle puts no pressure on my soft tissues and gives my sit bones plenty of padding. I especially like the way the halves move independently, giving it a little bit of shock absorption. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

I had to stop biking last summer due to problems/pain "down there." What ended up happening was emergency surgery for a urethral stricture followed by a diagnosis of vulvodynia. Ladies, I cannot tell you how much constant pain I was in. I was not able to sit on my work chair, let alone a bicycle seat. 4 months out of surgery, 3 sessions of womens health physical therapy and this bike seat and I'm back in the saddle! I cannot tell you how great this seat is. Removes ALL pressure from the sensitive areas. All my weight goes onto my sits bones and nowhere else. Each panel moves independently. I can return to biking and getting the rest of my life back and it is great. Loved this seat so much I bought it for my sister who complains of painful riding.

I use the saddle on my spin bike. It's much better than the one that came with the bike. That''s especially true for long rides. I wasn't able to do more than 20 minutes with my other seat. I'm. Up to 60 minutes now.

I have this saddle on my mountain bike, and tried another saddle on my hybrid bike but ended up getting one more for that bike as well. It's a comfortable seat, especially at miles 50 and up....

I put on the miles and it is terrible when the seat you love is no longer made. The pain of finding a seat for rides longer than fifty miles can be painful especially - you know where. This seat is one-third of the price I am used to paying and after using it for six months I am a happy cyclist. The nose is just the right length too! Of course, bike saddles are an individual preference but it is nice to find one at REI because they back up the products they sell!

I'm reviewing this to warn others of a potential issue with this saddle: after three months of use one of the tacks pushed its way through the saddle, out the side, and into my thigh. I returned it to REI as defective and exchanged it for a different brand.

Until it poked a hole in me it was very comfortable.
